This fun and active retreat is open to everyone of all levels of experience. Guided snowshoeing excursions through the stunning Mont Blanc mountain range will take place on 3 of the days during your retreat (leaving time to enjoy the spa, take part in the excellent Yoga classes and relax in our luxury chalet with its hot tub, pool and on-site massages).

During this retreat we will head over to Italy to spend a whole day pampering ourselves at spa Pre St Didier. This spa has got to be one of the best spas in Europe, if not the world! It’s innumerable steam rooms, saunas, hammams, treatment rooms, relaxation rooms, Jacuzzis, thermal baths, flotation pools, whirlpools, waterfalls, meditation rooms, sensorial tubs, music therapy tubs, Kniepp hydrotherapies, Vicky showers, foot-baths (the list goes on and on) come together to create a multifaceted haven of wellness, with something for everyone to enjoy. Relax and rejuvenate while taking in the incomparable views of the Italian side of the Mont Blanc massif.

This retreat will offer a variety of yoga styles, including; Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Yin and Restorative Yoga with meditation. To get a flavour of my style of teaching check out some of my videos. I teach a very inclusive style so all levels of experience are welcome.

This retreat includes:

  • A full body welcome massage
  • 5 nights accommodation in a beautiful chalet
  • Healthy and delicious meals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner (apart from one free evening to enjoy a meal at one of the fabulous local restaurants)

ACCOMMODATION

Our beautiful Chamonix chalet is situated high above the valley floor, with stunning views of the magnificent Mont Blanc mountain range. The chalet has 7 bedrooms, all designed and equipped to a very high standard. All bedrooms can be shared twins or doubles with a super king size bed, all have an ensuite bathroom, LCD TV and DVD player and a South facing Balcony (several have swing chairs and sun loungers).

The chalet has its own spa with a steam and sauna room, treatment room for the on-site massages, huge living area with double height picture windows and the ideal yoga deck, complete with Jacuzzi and pool, surrounded by breath-taking scenery.

During your retreat, there will be an excellent full-time chef, chalet host and driver providing catering, cleaning, driving and 24hr assistance.

HEALTHY EATING

The quality of the food on our retreats is very important to us. You will enjoy healthy, nutritional meals carefully chosen by our chef to complement the retreat perfectly. The food will be absolutely delicious and mostly vegetarian or vegan but you can opt for fish or meat when booking your retreat. Please include your dietary requirements in the section provided at checkout. We use organic and local produce where possible.


WHAT TO BRING

Chamonix Mont Blanc is the most beautiful Alpine region in Europe but as with all mountain regions, the weather is unpredictable. It can be extremely hot on sunny days and occasionally very cold even in summer, so it’s always a good idea to check the weather reportright before you travel.

We recommend bringing insulated, waterproof boots. They have thick soles, rubber/leather uppers and insulation – perfect for snowshoeing. Leather hiking boots work well, too, especially if they are waterproof. Wool or synthetic socks with wicking liners, although not essential, keep your feet warm and dry for the duration of each trek. A waterproof, breathable shell jacket and trousers will keep you dry and fend off wind. We also recommend bringing sunglasses, sun cream, a bathing suit for the spa and enough layers (a fleece if you have one) in case of cold weather. Don’t worry if you come unprepared or if you forget anything, there are plenty of shops in town.

During the meet and greet we will go over the schedule and weather report for the week so we can adjust the schedule a little bit if necessary. We will fit the massages in around the schedule.
